Olympic Park Eton Manor About to Complete

At the Olympic Park’s Olympic venue, Eton Manor, brilliant blue tennis courts along with temporary seats for approximately 10,500 spectators have been installed. Around 18 months back, construction work of this venue started.




During the games, venue will comprise of temporary aquatic training facilities, which includes three Olympic-size swimming pools, synchronized swimming pool and water polo pool. After the games, temporary Games-time pool will be transferred. The potential users would be schools, universities and local communities all across the country.

Chairman of ODA, John Armitt said, “A huge amount has been achieved since the start of construction only 18 months ago with work progressing on all elements of the Eton Manor project. It is encouraging to see this world-class Paralympic venue and important legacy facilities taking shape with the venue firmly on track to be completed on time and within budget.”
