LOCOG, The London 2012 Organising Committee has made confirmation that completion of taking payment process for the Paralympic tickets will be done by the end of October.
In 80 sessions, ballots have been completed all over 117 categories. LOCOG will start taking payments from Visa cards as well as cashing cheques and postal orders on 18th October 2011.
Approximately 800, 000 tickets to the Paralympic Games will be allocated to 100, 000 people. It clearly signifies that nine out of ticket applicants will get the tickets.
Paul Deighton, LOCOG CEO said, “We were thrilled by the response to Paralympic Games tickets and since the application process closed our teams have been working hard to run the required ballots, ready to begin the process of taking payments and allocating tickets.”
He further said, “We are on track to complete payments by the end of the month ready to inform people what tickets they have by 18 November.”
For the London 2012 Paralympic Games tickets, the application process had already ran from 9th to 26th September 2011. Approximately 1.1 million tickets have been already made by 116, 000 people. Rest of the Paralympic Games Tickets will be on sale on first come and first serve basis.
