007 Bond to Open 2012 London Olympics

After a personalized invitation from Queen, Daniel Craig will open the 2012 London Olympics Games. For the hugely anticipated sporting event, James Bond star will enact scenes as the iconic agent in Buckingham Palace.

The British Newspaper Sun stated that the short movie will make the Bond arrival by Royal Appointment. He would be informed regarding his latest mission of launching games. He has been taken to the Olympic stadium by helicopter to parachute in East London.

Queen sanctioned the movie herself and can also make cameo appearance. Creative Director of the opening ceremony movie, film maker Danny Boyle is quite excited with 007 a major part of this event.

While addressing a publication, he said, “It's a huge coup for BBC producers and Danny to be allowed into the Palace and have the Queen involved. They wanted the most iconic British film character inside the building most associated with London and with the monarch - and they got it.”

He further added, “It will be a magical scene for all watching at home and inside the stadium on July 27. Working out the logistics of filming has taken months and hasn't been easy - but it will be worth it in the end.”

One of the spokesperson of Palace stated, “Buckingham Palace is involved in a number of filming projects during this special Jubilee year and we would not go into details of any particular project until nearer the time of transmission.”
