During a popular US TV Show Access Hollywood, when an interviewer asked McCartney regarding his appearance in the 2012 Olympic Games. His little nod has sparked off the rumours that rest of the Beatles will be reunited in the opening ceremony of 2012 London Olympics! He insisted that has been declared officially, as he said, “I hear they're planning this sort of music.”
According to some reports, children of George Harrison and John Lennon may be the representatives of their fathers. While addressing The Sun newspaper, insider source stated, “Macca was just being coy about the details. The organisers want The Beatles legend to appear alongside other big British acts, and they want Ringo on stage as well to make it extra special.”
Oscar award winning director, Danny Boyle clearly stated that he expects the games to be commenced off with the world renowned British talent. Boyle further said, “Music has to play a big part in the ceremony. For such a small country, we have the most extraordinary tradition of music, and people look to Britain as a beacon of music.”
Other major acts of opening ceremony are double Grammy Award winner Adele and Spice Girls.
