BBC has the radio rights for London 2012 Paralympic Games awarded by 2012 London Organising Committee (LOCOG). Sports lovers would be able to enjoy live analysis and broadcast of the Paralympic Games to commence from 29th August to 9th September, 2012.
BBC Radio 5 live will feature 25 hrs of programs as well as news from Olympics Games. It will include key stories and highlights. BBC world service and local BBC radio stations will offer live coverage of the magnificent sports event.
Seb Coe, LOCOG Chairman stated, “The BBC has been a great champion of the Paralympic Movement, and many of our iconic sporting memories are from the BBC's radio coverage of the world's biggest sporting events. Radio 5 live is a brilliant sports broadcaster and a perfect radio partner.”
