2012 London Olympics Latest News

British Olympic Association will give decision whether they should risk almost bruising court battle with the sprinter Dwain Chambers, which needs to stick on lifetime Olympic ban.

On Wednesday, this issue will be discussed with the meeting of the executive board of BOA for first time. Earlier, American Athlete LaShawn Merritt served 21 month drug ban and also overturned rule of International Olympic Committee which would have barred him from London Olympics.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport stated Rule 45 of IOC, where athletes with six months bans are excluded or they will not be able to compete at the upcoming Olympic Games after the drug offence. This is considered as unfair and unenforceable.
