2012 London Olympics Festival features Impressive BBC Lineup

BBC has made announcement regarding its contribution to the London 2012 Olympics festival. The festival will comprise of thee of the biggest music events and celebrating the legendary Shakespeare.

For Radio 1 Hackney Weekend 2012, Tina Tempah and Florence & The Machine have also been added to the bill. This is the biggest free live music event by BBC. They will be accompanied with Leona Lewis and plan B along with more than 100 UK and international artists and bands and DJs. Live audience of 100, 000 music fans will enjoy this enthralling performance of these world class performers.

At another venue, BBC will mark the celebration of Shakespeare followed by huge range of programmes all across television, radio and online. The season also features historical plays of Shakespeare with world class cast which includes Jeremy Irons, John Hurt and Julie Walters.

The largest classical music festival, BBC Proms will be the part of this celebration. The program also features Daniel Barenboim who is a leading performer of West Eastern Divan Orchestra in Beethoven’s Ninth during the opening ceremony of 2012 London Olympics Games.
